San Antonio Culture and Arts Sites

San Antonio has enough sights to see we could stay even more days to enjoy all it has to offer.

Majestic Theater

San Antonio's oldest and largest atmospheric theater seats 2,311 people, was built in 1929 in the Mission Revival, Baroque and Mediterranean Revival architectural styles, is home to the San Antonio Symphony and is the premier performing arts facility for public and private events in San Antonio.

McNay Art Museum

As the first modern art museum in the entire state of Texas, the museum houses over 14,000 works of contemporary and European art in the 24-room Spanish Colonial Revival-style mansion of Marion Koogler McNay, and includes works by European and American masters including Cezanne, Picasso, Gauguin, Matisse, Georgia O'Keeffe and more.

During our reunion time, the museum will feature  'Rodin to Warhol" Celebrating their 60th Anniversary.

San Antonio Museum of Art

Located on the Riverwalk, first-time visitors to this museum are often pleasantly surprised at the size and scope of the collection, which includes the largest collection of ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman art in the southern US, in addition to a growing base of contemporary and regional art works.

The Witte Museum

Adjacent to Brackenridge Park along the Riverwalk, this premiere museum of South Texas history, culture, and natural science boasts historic artifacts and photographs, Texas art, textiles, the world-renowned Hertzberg Circus Collection, dinosaur bones, the four-story H-E-B Science Treehouse and more.
