San Antonio Sights to See

The Alamo
One of the most visited and historic sights to see, The Alamo was originally named Mission San Antonio de Valero, For 300 years of history, it has served as home to missionaries and their Indian converts for nearly seventy years and welcomes more than 2.5 million visitors a year.

From February 23 to March 6, 1836, the Battle of the Alamo was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution.  Jim Bowie, Davey Crockett were two of the 115 defenders. They were killed in battle.

The River Walk

The River Walk

Located along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath the streets of Downtown San Antonio, this charming network of walkways connects most of the major tourist draws in San Antonio, from the Alamo to Pearl Brewery to the San Antonio Museum of Art and all points in between, and boasts cafes, shops, bars, galleries and more.

Our last reunion in San Antonio was 2009. We had a really good time.

This was the first YouTube video I ever made. Hopefully I've gotten better. You can click on it to watch. I don't remember ending it so abruptly. Oh well, it was 6 years ago.
